This past Tuesday the kids and I went on a Box Tops scavenger hunt in Walmart. I had been provided a $25 Walmart gift card as part of their Box Tops for Education Back to School promotion. Normally, I would try to look for all healthy or practical products but I wanted the kids to have fun, so I told them that they could pick whatever they wanted as long as it had 2 or more box tops on it.
Our rural Walmart is HUGE and overwhelming. We hardly ever take the kids in there and we definitely were an oddity standing around Box Tops displays and taking pictures. We even had one guy come up to us and tell us about another Box Tops display around the corner.
So we got a cart, the calculator (perfect time for a math lesson) and started down the main aisles. About midway down we came across two huge crates of cereal. The kids were thrilled to see their favorite brands with the extra Box Tops on them.
