My family just finished up our summer vacation to St. Augustine, Florida. Once again we were blessed with the use of our dear friends parents’ large condo right on the beach. The weather was beautiful and we had a really great time.

For those of you unfamiliar with St. Augustine, it is located in Northern Florida, just south of Jacksonville. It is considered the “Oldest City” in the United States. It has quite the eclectic mix of folks from hippies, to surfers, college students and retirees. The downtown is a combination of old world history with quaint little streets, restaurants and shops. Then just a short hop over the Bridge of Lions and you are on some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. While St. Augustine really isn’t a secret vacation location any longer, it is still a very unique and enjoyable Florida destination for the whole family.
