Last fall I was thrilled to find the ChicoBag company and all of their wonderful products including the Original bag, the DayPack, Produce Stand Bags and their new Duffle Bag. I have yet to find a Chicobag product that I don’t absolutely praise!

Chicobag sent me one of their Vita Bags from the brand new Blossom Collection. Here is a description of the Blossom bags:

The large forty-pound carrying capacity and shoulder length straps of the bag make it the ideal reusable bag to tote on any day trip or shopping outing. Like all ChicoBag™ brand styles, the Blossom Collection bags stuff into an integrated pouch and weigh only two ounces.

I also love that all their bags fold compactly into a small little pouch for easy on the go. You can keep one (or 5) in the car for all your last minute shopping trips. I actually keep two in my purse at all times because it never fails that I make a last minute trip to the store and don’t have any reusable bags in the car.

I have 2 of the Chico Vita Bags as well as an Original that we use to go to the store.  I am always amazed at how MUCH you can fit inside the bag.  Store clerks often comment, after seeing me unpack the little bag about how generously sized the bags are.

The last time I was at Target the clerk there was raving about how nice the bag was and she thought to offer her own little review, saying that she would like to see them make a little loop at the top so she could hang it over the regular bag holder and keep it open easier.  Of course, I made a mental note because it is one thing for me to review it from my perspective but another to hear how store clerks like it.

Beyond just making a outstanding product, ChicoBag is committed to addressing the environmental problems we all face.  You can read more about their commitment to the planet here. They even have a program where they will take ANY worn out reusable bag from ANY company and repurpose it.

Now this post absolutely would not be complete without some attention being focused on The Bag Monster. This “creature” was created with 500 plastic bags and tours the world bringing attention to reducing (and banning) single use bags.

    I love reusable bags. I don’t have a sling style reusable bag, so that one would be my favorite. Since I don’t have a puppy anymore to reuse walmart and grocery sacks for picking up poo, I try to only bring my own bags or ask for paper. 🙂
