My blog has been a tad bit sad the past few weeks. Thank you for bearing with me as I trudged through my own personal grief and remembrance. It was very cathartic and I appreciate each comment that I received.
With that being said, I realized lately that there are a whole bunch of things that really creep me out. Not like spiders or bats but unusual things that others probably don’t think about yet I find them somewhat disturbing.
Yes, I know it is a bit weird that I even spend time thinking about these things but what else is there to think about during a daily 45 minute commute.
So the first one that is on my list is are animal dolls with human baby faces. Have you ever seen them? Mostly the ones that I see belong to older women but sometimes they have several of them. They put them on their couches and then they just stare at me. While I am sure that there are others the ones that I see most often are the cow/baby dolls. I don’t understand the attraction of the cow/dolls any more than I understand the grown women who “raise” the dolls and treat them like living babies. Just creepy.
The next one on my list is are old school vans. You know the ones like from the movie Silence of the Lambs. It doesn’t really matter to me if they have a company name on the van or not. Whenever I see one, I get creeped out. I am particularly out of sorts if they are the kind without windows or have dark tinted windows. I never ever park next to a van and if one pulls near me at a stop light, I will inch forward to prepare myself for a necessary take off. Last week, I was leaving my neighborhood and a dark green van was on the corner. I caught myself stalking the van trying to determine if he was a legitimate contractor of some sorts.
Do you have anything that creeps you out? Gives you the eebie-jeebies?
