The event is hosted by The WIC Project and Barefoot Mommies and has a cash prize of $500 dollars from the event sponsor Save and Make Moola. Plus there are 24 participating bloggers each giving away prizes of $75 or more.

    I love to save on back to school items by stocking up whenever I can. My family has a cabinet dedicated to school supplies. Most of the time, we can find anything we need in the cabinet. And of course, COUPONS! I just got free sharpies and pens at Target last week 🙂

    Just got back from the EcoMom site. Is “all of it” an acceptable answer?

    I would probably say the Skin and Bones Therapy just because it has SO MANY uses. I also love the All Nighter All Over Shimmer Powder, the Beautiful Life Pre Game Texturizing Spray, and the Tea Lovers Eco Cups are ADORABLE!!!

    We start watching for sales now (mid July) and start taking advantage of those. It does take some careful planning so as not to spend a ton on gas running around. Sometimes we have other parents pick up things WE need, and they will pick up things for us to save time and travel.

    I try to save by checking all the sales and compare to how the sales were the year before. Some stores have a trend of handling their markdowns as they did before. I just keep a spreadsheet of each store and when they marked down merchandise, some say it’s a lot of trouble, but I’m the one who saves year after year.
