From Memorial Day till Labor Day, Ohio has a plethora of festivals. While they are all pretty similar – food, rides, crafts and tractor pulls – the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival stands out. There are piles of fresh picked sweet corn, steamed in real butter and served hot to the long lines of people.
Once you finally make it through the long lines and get your buttery, golden cobb, you head over to corn eating troughs (ok, well they are large tables but they look like troughs) and enjoy your sweet corn.
Make sure you grab enough the first time you go through the line! You will definitely want to eat more than one!
We went to a festival today too. I wanted the corn so bad. But since I’m on weight watchers, I held off. Have one for me!
