This past summer I had the opportunity to review a beautiful handmade paper bead bracelet from the nonprofit organization BeadforLife. Beyond the fact that the bracelet has become one of my favorite accessories, the company has also become one of my favorite causes. BeadforLife is an amazing organization that helps to empower women in Uganda by providing them with vocational training, affordable housing and business education.
I am still very fascinated with how these stunning and unique hand-crafted recycled paper beads are made. I honestly don’t know if I have ever seen anything like them before and I highly encourage you to watch this fascinating video on how the paper beads are made.
