Oh no, I missed another day! I had a whole of giving Thanks on Thanksgiving and missed it. That is what happens when you take a nap instead of sit at the computer. So for yesterday (11/24), I am thankful for the opportunity to disconnect. To have been able to spend the entire day with my family.
Today (11/25), I am thankful for my camera. I have loved taking pictures since I was young. I started really focusing on my pictures when I was in college and traveled to the Galapagos. My mom gave me a Canon Rebel for my trip. I brought 30 rolls of film and took them all.
When digital cameras were introduced I upgraded to the Digital Rebel that I still have today. I love that it allows me to capture the big & little moments of life. Pictures of my kids, family and friends. It allows me to capture memories that might otherwise be forgotten.
I am not sure what I would do without my camera. It is an extension of my memory to be shared and cherished.
