Praise & Giveaway: FFH’s One Silent Night Christmas Album

Nothing makes me get into the Christmas spirit more than a good Christmas album. There is nothing like a living room full of boxes, a naked Christmas tree, hot chocolate, a warm fire and a great Christmas CD.  I rarely buy new Christmas albums because they always seem to be more of the same but FFH’s, One Silent Night is full of wonderful new arrangements of new and old songs. 

I am already pushing repeat on the cover song, One Silent Night. I wanted to hear it over and over again. I love the lyrics, “Sleep baby Jesus you need all the rest you can get, there are people in need.” I love that they call him baby Jesus. I love the visual of Him sleeping calmly and peacefully in his mother’s arms.

The song Glorious Impossible is also one of my new favorites. I honestly don’t think I have ever heard it although a quick Google search tells me that this is a popular song. I am always very moved by the names that we use to refer to Jesus. There is something about the term, “Glorious Impossible” that really grabs my heart.  The lyrics, “Praise, oh praise Him, praise the glory, Of this lavish grace so full, Lift your souls now and receive, The Glorious Impossible.”

Overall, I really enjoyed the One Silent Night album. It has an excellent selection of new and old favorites as well as a wonderful new Christmas song. Find out more about FFH & their new album at:
