It’s fair season in Ohio and fair season + a toddler = WAY TO MANY DISGUSTING Porta-Johns. I am sure that I am not the only mom who packs a travel potty in the car for festivals and fireworks but it’s not like I can cart it around the fairgrounds. Instead, I usually pack a baggie of antibacterial wipes so I can wipe down those filthy toilets and dirty hands.
Well, that was until I was blessed with a pack of Potty Covers. Now, when we go out to fairs, festivals, parks or play grounds I can just whip out one of their oversized disposable covers, place it on the toilet and know that Lu can safely use the bathroom.
The number one feature that I love about the Potty Covers is that they just don’t cover the seat. They fall completely down around the potty so that little hands are able to grasp them the sides. That is one of my biggest pet peeves in public bathrooms. I am always trying to get Lu to hold my hands instead of the toilet but it never fails she grabs on.
While I am not big fan of regularly using disposable products, I know that every product has a purpose and a place and these are great for when you just know that cleanliness is a factor.
The Potty Covers come in packs of 6 for $5.00 and can be purchased on Amazon, Ebay and at all Bye Bye Baby Stores. You can also find them at select Bed, Bath and Beyond stores.

I have a 3 year old that is potty trained and this would make using those gross public bathrooms not quite so gross.

I can’t stand my kids’ legs having to rest against a public toilet and their hands having to hold the seat to balance! These are a great invention.
