I received products from the Evenflo Bebek Collection for the purpose of this review. This post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own.
As a third time Mom, I know better than most that babies can be very particular with the type of pacifiers, nipples and bottles that they take to. I remember with my first baby, I had registered for the “new baby” kit of a particular brand of bottles and pacifiers, which of course, baby Ephraim wanted absolutely no part of using. Then, when Lu came along, I got smart and waited to purchase all those necessities, even then, I still ended up with several pacifiers and bottles that she wasn’t touching with a ten foot pole.
So, with this little guy I have been very hesitant to purchase a whole bunch of items. When they asked me to review the brand new Evenflo Bebek collection, I jumped on the opportunity. I was very interested in their the bottle because it doesn’t have a whole bunch of parts and pieces that need to be cleaned. Instead it has a unique one piece vented nipple that allows the air to escape from the side of the bottle.
Since I am going back to work next week, we really needed to introduce Ez to a bottle. I promised the daycare center that I wouldn’t bring them a bottle resistant baby. My first impression of the Evenflo Bebek bottle was how comfortably it fit in my hands and how light weight it felt.
Since we all know breast milk is liquid gold, I started with just one ounce. At first he wasn’t to sure about the bottle. He kind of chomped on the nipple and pushed it around with his tongue. After a few more attempts, he was able to get a pretty good latch and took a few good sucks. Since we are just learning to use a bottle, I can’t truthfully say if I noticed any difference in gassiness or belly problems but I sure didn’t notice any problems either.
We also received a set of the new Evenflo Bebek Pacifiers. Unfortunately, the ones that we were sent for this review were for 3-6 months and were a tad too big for the little man. However, I really liked the design of the pacifiers. They have a nice clear mouth plate with soft edges. The nipple on the pacifier is long and thin. I like the neutral shape, in that it doesn’t seem like it would “pull” on the upper palate or later on the baby’s teeth. It also has the nice cut out to easily allow for nose breathing. Plus I really like pacifiers that have the handles to allow for a variety of clips. That way baby doesn’t send them flying.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the new Evenflo Bebek collection. So much so, that I even went looking for some at our local baby store. I need at least another three bottles for the baby to make it through the day at daycare. Bottles are available in either 5 or 8 ounce sizes. Pacifiers come in packs of two with an orange and then either a blue, pink or green and a neat little storage case, perfect for your diaper bag. If you are looking for a new bottle or pacifier, make sure you check out the Evenflo Bebek Collection. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been fortunate with 2 kids that have shown no nipple preference whatsoever. But I have friends and family that have struggled with this. That pacifier is ADORABLE. I also love pacifiers with handles for the same reason.

Isn’t it weird how some kids have issues and others don’t. My daughter only would take the Soothie pacifiers. She was obsessed.

I have tried numerous bottles with my lo she doesn’t seem to care for any of them. The fact that it has vents in the nipple for the air to escape is a plus. I am going to the store tomorrow to pick some up. Heres hoping she liked them.

Come back and tell me what you think. All three of my kids have been super picky about bottles.
