My daughter is an absolute movie addict. She loves to snuggle up on the couch and watch something new and I love to be able to offer her wholesome, family friendly video’s. On the Farm with Farmer Bob: The Prodigal Pig is the perfect example of the kind of kids movie we like to watch.
Featuring the voice talents of Amy Grant, Vince Gill and Randy Travis, The Prodigal Pig does a great job of teaching children that no matter what mistakes we might make, that God will always love us. Of course, this fun and wacky little movie teaches uses a loving Farmer, a way-ward pig, a friendly sheep dog and wacky rooster. There is also some really great music in the video. I even found myself dancing a little piggy jig while wiping down the windows.
Lu loved the movie. She especially liked Jenny the sheepdog. She is a lover of all types of animals so these little critters are right up her ally. I loved how the video showed examples of friendship and forgiveness.
The Prodigal Pig is perfect for ages 4-7 and includes a bonus video, a pop-up story book with pop-up “p” to help develop your little ones literacy skills. You can purchase the DVD for $7.99.
