Unfortunately, we have gone through several Bibles in the past few years, as my little one has a horrible tendency to leave them at church. When I received the option to review the Nature Bible, I was really excited. I knew that my son would like the camping theme. The only thing I wasn’t sure about is that I had never heard of the International Children’s Bible translation. We have always used the NIV even though it can be a challenging for Eph to read.
I took sometime to compare our translations and really like the ICB Bible. I was pleased to discover how easy The Nature Bible is to read and understand. More importantly, Eph didn’t seem to struggle as much as he does when he reads his other Bibles. I personally like the more “story telling” aspect of the ICB translation.
The Nature Bible has a really neat zip up cotton cover with a camping theme. In addition to being a full length Bible, it also includes 24 full color inserts that are perfect for your little explorer. The other nice thing about the bible is the memory verse section at the very end.
If you are looking for a new Bible for your child’s Sunday school class or other church activities make sure you check out The Nature Bible.
