Oh baby! Normally I am not much of a diaper print kind of gal. I tend towards the simple side but when I saw this adorable limited edition Safari print from BabyKicks, I just had to have one. Choose from the Safari or Outfoxed.
Appearance:
This is my first premium pocket diaper from Baby Kicks. I didn’t think that it would be all that different from the basic pocket diaper but it really is. The premium diaper has a super soft bamboo velour inner and comes with a separate stay dry liner. The thing that I found most impressive about the premium diaper is the fleece leg gussets that keep Ezra from having any red marks on his very chubby legs. It is also a very trim diaper. It almost makes you wonder how it can be so absorbent.
Performance:
This diaper has really earned its reputation for being extra absorbent. The One Size Joey Bunz insert is made of hemp which naturally lends it to increased absorbency. We have been using this diaper for a little over a month now and have not had any leaks which says a lot for my EBF baby who seems to leak out of every diaper that we use.
Fit:
I love the side snaps and trim fit of this diaper. Unlike almost all of my other diapers, the Baby Kicks Premium Pocket diaper fits well with onsies and jeans.
Cost:
The Premium Pocket diaper costs $21.50 and includes the hemp insert. For an all natural fibers diaper, this is a great price and the diaper is well worth the investment.
Overall:
The Premium Pocket diaper is one of my favorite diapers. I love that this dipaer is so trim yet absorbent. It also has my favorite feature, a cross over button that can be used to close up a solid diaper before dropping it into the wet bag.
Buy:
You can get this fantastic premium diaper in the Safari Print from the BabyKicks website. They are also having a great deal on a 2+2+2 limited edition pink diapers (ends on Thursday). Check out the website for more details. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter!

I love their inserts. What is the drying time like on the shell and inserts.
Melanie says
I normally hang my shells but I have been popping it in the dryer to soften it up. The insert dries in about 30 on low.

These diapers sound like really good value! & I love the pattern “Outfoxed” (and it’s name). 🙂
I also like the fit of the leg gussets, it looks like they will keep liquids in!

Thanks for sharing – I have a couple babykicks prefolds that I love but wasn’t aware that they do pockets too!

I like the Safari print, reminds me a little bit of the old John Lennon Carters print. I don’t have but one pocket diaper in my stash. MY favorite feature with this diaper is the extra side snap for use with newborns.

I’ve never tried Babykicks before but they seem awesome. I bet they would be great overnight diapers too.

I have a BabyKicks pocket diaper that I won in a giveaway. Although I am not generally a huge fan of pockets, I do like this diaper. I have the orange, which helps because I LOVE orange diapers!
