If you have been cloth diapering for awhile, then you know that sometimes the best diapers are the ones that are getting destashed. A cute print or that coveted unicorn diaper. The prices are less than retail which means more bang for your buck! Except sometimes, it is nerve racking to buy diapers from an internet forum or off Craigslist. That is why I love that our local cloth diaper store has a bi-annual diaper and baby carrier consignment sale. When I was diapering my my daughter for the first time, it was a great way to try out some of the diaper brands that I was crushing on without making a huge investment.
Then, on top of how awesome the swap is for shoppers, it gets even better because the proceeds from the swap go to support our central Ohio Diaper Connection charity. Diaper Connection is a local non-profit that provides cloth diapers and education to qualifying families. It is completely run by volunteers who also wash and repair used diapers so they can be provided to another family in need.
The first swap of the year is coming up on February 8th & 9th at the (new) Sprout Soup location. No registration needed to shop! Just show up and find some great deals on cloth diapers, carriers and more. Consignment registration is still available. Last drop off for Diapers is February 2nd!
