Snow Rollers

January 29, 2014 By Melanie

There has been some crazy weather her in Ohio this week.  Many of us have been reveling in a crazy phenomenon called Snow Rollers. I have heard various stories about them only happening every 10+ years but I am not really sure what exactly is the truth. No matter how they are formed, they are truly spectacular. Apparently it takes the most unique of situations to create these amazing little cotton candy puffs of snow. The wind has to be a specific speed. The snow has to be a specific type and the temperature has to be specific level too.

And this is what you get…

SnowRollers

Truly, they feel like a message from God to remember that he is still making all things new, at just the perfect time.

Here is another picture.

That is incredible! I have NEVER seen or heard of anything like that before. We live on the west coast in a very mild climate and experience a dusting of snow maybe 1or 2 times a year.
