Bunnies are the number one love in our house. Lu’s favorite toy is her stuffed Bun Bun and I find that she gravitates towards other items that have cute little long eared fuzzy creatures on it. When checking out the new offerings from Tommy Nelson, I just new the book God’s Love in my Heart would be perfect for Lu. Not to mention the perfect timing since my Mom had just passed away a couple of weeks earlier and we have been dealing with some heavy heart-break.

God’s Love in my Heart is a charming little story about Big and Boo as they are walking home. Boo is tired and doesn’t think he can go on but Big explains that you can do anything with God’s love in your heart. The pictures are bright and beautiful. Lu noticed right away that all the pages flow together with a variety of little hearts. The hearts are stars, water, raindrops, leaves etc. Each one doing the perfect job of showing that God’s love is absolutely everywhere.

The story is sweet and just blesses the reader with a lovely story, brilliant artistry and most importantly the amazing knowledge that God is with us, always and anywhere helping us to achieve the impossible.

    I try to live it as an example! I am always failing, truly a sinner in need of God’s love and grace. I hope they see that I receive it and in turn try to give it!
