#CDLocal2Me Giveaway Hop

October 16, 2014 By Melanie

#CDLocal2Me (1)

Welcome to the #CDLocal2Me Giveaway Hop Event, hosted by Mama Loup’s Den and Our Piece of Earth.

Not to long ago, some of my favorite Canadian bloggers hosted a Canadian Only Cloth Diaper event and that made us US diaper bloggers kind of jealous. As we started chatting in our FB group, a couple of the ladies came up with the great idea of hosting a Cloth Diaper Local to Me giveaway. As I was getting ready for the event, I found this awesome list on the Cloth Diaper Guru for her home state. I asked her if I could duplicate the listing here in Ohio. Honestly, as I started my search, I shocked at how many home grown retail and online cloth diaper stores are in the Buckeye State.

CDBuckeyeState
For this event, I am bringing you two wonderful shops with a crazy, awesome set of prizes:

First up: Squigglybugs

Located in Brunswick, OH (North Central), this mother/daughter team operates an online store full of all of your favorite cloth diaper brands, baby wearing products and accessories. You will definitely want to check out their store, sign up for their email list and like them on FB. Oh and don’t tell anyone, but I did notice some limited edition prints hiding in their shop. Definitely a perk for making friends with your smaller retailers. They get all the fun diapers without the long lines.

Squigglybugs is providing this AMAZING prize pack:

  • Smart Bottoms 3.1 in Epic
  • Little Toader Appeteether Ice cream U Scream
  • a Siliconies necklace (for mama!)
  • a wet bag
  • a pair of gender neutral leg warmers.

Next up: Whimsy Kids

Whimsy Kids is a brand new retailer located in the Youngstown, Ohio area. I actually came across her by accident. One of my favorite WHAM retailers, Fancy Cloth, featured her on their page. I reached out to Hannah and am thrilled to let you know that not only does her store offer a unique selection of cloth diapers (Fancy Cloth, Snuggy Baby, Gen-Y), she also as a fantastic assortment of children’s educational products.

As a matter of fact, Hannah will be starting a new subscription box service for your little ones. A Whimsy Box is an up and coming subscription box that is combining children’s books and corresponding toys to help inspire imaginative play based off of what they learn in their books. These boxes will won’t debut until late November but one of you will be the first Whimsy Box owner!

Whimsy Kids Prize:

One of my lucky readers will have one delivered to their door prior to anyone else receiving them! The MRSP of the first box is over $47.

TWO AMAZING PRIZES FOR ONE LUCKY WINNER!

Now, I have teamed up with some amazing bloggers who love supporting local businesses and are excited to share these products and companies that we love with you. Each participating blogger will be showcasing cloth diaper or natural living products and stores local to them.
