It has been a year of loss and change for my family and using books to talk about our feelings is one way that really helps my children. It Will Be Okay is a great book for encouraging your kids through fear and change. It is the sweet take of a fox and a seed, both dealing with this common fear and how they learn to depend on God.
Recently my son needed to select a book to take on his youth group’s visit to the nursing home. He chose this one because he thought the older women would like it and they did. He read it to two women and he said they loved the illustrations. Of course the real benefit was him taking the time to read this lovely story to the nursing home.

That looks like such a sweet book 🙂 I think we all need to hear “It will be OK” when we’re going through difficult time.
