I am an absolute pattern addict. As a matter of fact, I have very few solid cloth diapers anymore. There is just something adorable about seeing a patterned cloth diaper peeking out of a pair of pants or from underneath a t-shirt. I am certain that I am not the only one that feels this way considering the crazy amount of limited edition diapers that are on the market these days.
So when Awesome Blossom Cloth Diapers reached out to me and asked me to review one of their new exclusive prints, I just couldn’t say no. Even better, when I when I went to check out the patterns I found that their new pattern Constellation fits perfect with my celestial theme. (Strangely, stars, suns and moons are a little hard to come by in the CD world.)
The Awesome Blossom Cloth Diaper is your typical pocket diaper. It is generously sized and has a 4 row rise with double snapped wings. There is a nice rise to this diaper which kept it from rolling over too much on his buddha belly.
The diaper comes with a multi-layer microfiber insert. I have a tendency to lean towards natural fibers and being that the diaper is a pocket, it is easy to switch out the microfiber for a bamboo or hemp diaper insert. They even recommend doubling up inserts for extended and overnight use. However, the Awesome Blossom insert was absorbent and trim fitting in the shell.
Performance
The Awesome Blossom cloth diaper is great. Trim and absorbent. The soft, covered elastic on the legs and the back of the diaper prevented any significant leaks. I replaced the microfiber insert with a hemp insert and had no problems.
Fit
Ezra is 27 lbs now and no longer needs the rise snaps in his diapers. Although I haven’t used them, I am pretty sure that I could snap up the last rise and still have a nice trim fit on him. The diaper fit well around his waist and legs. Not too tight and definitely not loose.

Awesome Blossom cloth diapers are competitively priced at $22.99 for prints and $19.99 for solid colors. They have several package deals available and the more you buy, the more money you save. I have also seen these diapers featured on Zulily at bargain prices.
Overall
Awesome Blossom cloth diapers are fantastic. I love their exclusive prints and definitely will need to add the Pineapple diaper to my collection. The diaper performed well, washed well and made an adorable addition to my stash.

I love Constellation, too! I’m glad that you mentioned the rise. My toddler is a similar size to your son and I am always concerned that the rise won’t be long enough.

I love the constellation pattern! Trim fit is also important to us. We have a chubby babe and when she wears bulky dipes it’s hard to put clothes on her!
