Have you ever wished that you could scratch n sniff the internet? See that beautiful bouquet of flowers or that delicious looking meal? Due to migraines in both myself and one of our kids, we are a 100% perfume free home. So you won’t find any of those popular chemically based plug ins or fragrance filled candles in our house or cars at all. I was nervous trying out the Fresh Wave products because I didn’t want to trigger any headaches but was pleasantly surprised by the mild yet almost woodsy scent.
When you initially open the the gel, it is a pretty strong smell but that begins to fade and by the next morning I couldn’t even tell the gel was in the house. Well, I could, but only because now, when I walked in the door, I didn’t smell all of those things listed above. Even after having being gone for 24 hours, with he house completely closed up, we came back to a completely fresh smelling home.
We tried placing the smaller gel packs into the death eating soccer cleats, but it was just a bit too strong to be placed directly into the shoes. However, we placed one near the shoes in the closet and it destroys the odors immediately. We also placed one inside the trunk of our small car. We once had a water spill and ever since we have had a moldy smell. Ever since we placed the small gel pack in the car, I haven’t even noticed the smell like before.

I didn’t know they didn’t use strong smells with this, I’ve been avoiding trying it because I can’t really stomach strong scents anymore for some reason. I definitely need this for our diaper pail/wet bag and for anywhere near my husband’s shoes.
