Hail Merry® is a snack food company that celebrates the benefits of raw plant-based dietary oils, including heart-healthy raw almond our and organic virgin coconut oil. Their women-owned kitchen produces award winning and great tasting recipes that are low-temperature dehydrated rather than baked or roasted at high temperatures, which protects the integrity of the raw dietary oils and pure ingredients. Their products are kosher, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, certified C.L.E.A.N, dairy free and Paleo friendly. That is a whole lot of healthy in one little bite.
For this review, Hail Merry sent me a selection of their individually packaged Merry Bites:
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- Caramel Sea Salt
- Salted Brownie
- Pure Vanilla Macaroon
- Lemon Macaroon
- Dark Chocolate Macaroon
Merry Bites are kind of geared towards adults but since they had the word “chocolate” in it, so I had no choice but to share with my little testers. First dibs went to Lulu and of course she chose the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. The bites look similar to any popular cookie dough product and as my dairy and egg allergic kid, she devoured them in just about 3 seconds and then asked for more. I have no doubt that these would be a great choice for right before power cheer practice or in her lunch box.
Eph chose the Dark Chocolate Macaroon. I was actually a little bummed that we didn’t save those for Ezra, since they are nut free but that just means we will need to buy some more. Ephraim liked the cookie dough bites more than the Dark Chocolate but these were definitely my favorite. They remind me a bit of the Paleo energy balls that are so popular on Pinterest. However, these are much better and I didn’t even have to get my hands dirty.
Carmel Sea Salt and Salted Brownie are both delicious as well. While Lemon and Pure Vanilla Macaroon are both very good, I probably wouldn’t buy them on my own. However, that might just be my addiction to chocolate talking. Hail Merry also makes a variety of tarts. Which sounds just like something a queen would order.
Overall, I was very impressed with my selection of Hail Merry, Merry Bites. They also included a fun hat and super soft t-shirt. In addition to making delicious food, the Hail Merry family dedicates a portion of their time and resources to charities that help survivors of Human Trafficking. (Which is a topic near and dear to my heart.)
