A couple of weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to “BOO” one our neighbors. We were selected by At Home stores to participate in their “BOO”campaign which included a gift card that allowed us to spend some time shopping our local store. This was my second time shopping at At Home and there were so many choices, it was almost impossible to decide.

At Home stores have a ridiculous amount of holiday options in addition to their regular home decorating signs, pillows, art, rugs and furniture. It truly is a one stop shop for your home. I think the best part of the whole shopping experience is how much money you save! Shopping at At Home Stores is very affordable.

For this campaign, we were challenged to surprise a neighbor. We chose a local family who I knew would enjoy the surprise and was very supportive of our adoption. I waited with baited breath all day for them to contact us once they got home! Their family follows Sunshine Praises on Instagram so they were able “guess” who surprised them even though I had kept our shopping basket a little hidden.

Want to boo a neighbor? You don’t need to do anything this elaborate. Just head out to your local At Home store and pick up a door sign, yard art or inflatable decoration, pair it with a candy filled pumpkin and a personal “You’ve Been BOOed” note. Such an easy and fun way to make your neighbors day brighter. (Don’t do Halloween? Give a Gobble or a Sprinkle of Joy – always a reason to surprise someone.)
