One of the problems with being baby #3 is that you miss out on many of the fresh new baby items that are normally given as part of baby showers. Hand me downs are the norm and little luxuries like new wash cloths and fluffy towels just don’t seem all that important. Poor little Ezra didn’t get one new towel and has been using Eph’s that are more than 8 years old and even a couple of pink ones that were Lu’s. Not that he cares but still, it is nice to have a some new items for a new baby.

There is also a large minky hood that I have actually been turning inside out so the minky fabric is up against his bald little head. He giggles when I rub the minky over his face a play a game of peek-a-boo while drying him off.
The towel is extremely thick and soft and it has maintained its softness despite our hard water and multiple washes. I love how I can wrap him up like a little burrito and he is kept toasty and warm while waiting to get his after bath massage. The towel is so thick and absorbent that it barely feels damp. I also really like the wash cloth. It has a superior soft cotton feel and lathers up nicely. It too is generously sized and perfect for getting baby clean. The soft cotton is gentle on babies skin which is a perk since my little one has some eczema.

What a nice gift this would make for a new baby. There is nothing like wrapping up your baby in a soft fluffy towel after a bath!
I love that the towel is so thick, all the towels I received are thin and I think we’ll have to get new towels for when our baby is a toddler.
