I have to be 100% honest, before Mindy from The Inquisitive Mom posted on her Facebook page about there being diapers specific to a particular country or region, I had never even considered the idea. Honestly, I just assumed that the diapers we have here in the US are available here and everywhere and the same went for other countries. After reading the comments on FB and doing my own little bit of research I was thrilled to find that sure enough, there is a whole variety of diapers that are not available for sale here in the US.
While most of the diapers that were mentioned fell into what I would call “typical” cloth diaper category. The prints were cutesy and most of the diapers were similar to what we see here in the US. Well, all except one brand. The Pop-In by Close Parent grabbed my attention with their unique prints. I fell totally in love with the Russian Dolls diaper and I might have to try to import one for when our impending adoption brings us a little girl to cloth diaper.
After much deliberation, I decided on these totally retro prints and they are even more awesome in person. I will be bringing you more pictures, some action shots and a review next week.

I have never tried cloth diapers because I just can not afford the initial startup cost..but I think anything better for my baby and the envirement is something I should be trying!
I didn’t really think of diapers as country specific either. I have a friend in Nigeria that told me it’s really hard to get any prints there, but she still uses BumGenius. I have never thought about it like this!
