I have horrible hair. No really. It is frizzy and always dry. I also have a lot of hair which makes it more prone to breaking and falling out. Not to mention that I have a bad habit of putting it up in hair bands all the time.
About 6 months ago I found a very good and inexpensive hair stylist. I got a nice cut and color and have been doing my best to “do” {blow dry and flat iron} my hair prior to leaving the house. However, I am intimidated by hair products. There are so many to choose from and I am always afraid I will make the wrong choice and be stuck with a useless $20 bottle of gunk.
When I was offered the opportunity to review a hair product from Surface Hair, I was really excited. They gave me a few products to choose from and I selected the Trinity Protein Cream. It sounded like a product that would best meet my hair needs.
About the product:
Trinity Protein CreamTrinity Protein Cream repairs, calms and straightens hair of all textures. Made with Amaranth Protein, Babassu oil, and Flax Seed oil, Trinity Protein Cream repairs damaged hair cuticles while strengthening and providing natural sun protection. Thermal styling maximizes smoothing and repair. Trinity Protein Cream works extremely well on fine hair and is an amazing detangler, saving fine hair from stress and hair-loss during styling.
Can I just say, I love love love this product. Honestly, it is really nice. You can use it on both wet or dry hair and it aids in protecting during thermal heating. It is also an excellent detangler. I hate to admit this, since the product is a bit costly, but I have used it on my 3 year old’s bed head several times. It only takes a teensy spray to comb out her rats nest in the back.
Here is a picture of my “normal” air dried hair. (don’t be jealous, you know you wish you could have hair like me)
In order to tame this lion’s mane, I simply sprayed a small amount of the Trinity Protein Cream on my hair, worked it through with my fingers and then used my flat iron. I love how the Surface Trinity Protein cream covers my hair and protects it from the heat. Once I get my hair completely ironed out, then I spray a tiny bit more on my hands and quickly touch up any left over frizzes that I can see. Here is my “after” photo.
You can totally see how nice and shiny my hair looks. It holds this for my standard 2 days without becoming greasy. I have also noticed a that my hair’s general health has improved since I started using the product.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this the Surface Hair Care product and would definitely be interested in trying their other products. Find out more about them by visiting their website, Facebook, and following them on Twitter. Surface products can be purchased online and at your local salon.
