During church this past Sunday, our pastor said, “it isn’t ironic that on Thursday we spend time giving thanks for what we have and then on Friday, we make lists of all the things we want?”
The irony struck me hard and after a month of taking time to consider all the things that I have to be thankful for I am appalled at how ungrateful I have the tendency to become. I have an “I need” attitude and it isn’t pretty.
This month has really helped me to label the items that matter (God, church, family, friends) and the ones that don’t. It has helped me to separate the needs from the wants.
I am so very thankful for a month of thanksgiving. I hope each of you have taken this time to give thanks for what you have been blessed with. May God continue to keep you in the comfort of your home. May your families be blessed with health and prosperity and may you continue to find reasons to be thankful.

That is very ironic. I never thought of it that way, but so true!
