When my husband and I first got married we spent almost a year “visiting” churches that have Deaf ministries. The year was very interesting, we saw many churches, with various styles of preaching and then finally settles on a Vineyard church 45 minutes from our house.
We stayed at that church for 4 years and realized that it was time to move to a church that was closer to our home where we could be more involved. We were also looking for a church that had excellent children’s programs.
We have been so blessed to find our current church. The church is filled with fantastic people, who know us by name. The pastor is warm and welcoming. He always has a smile and genuinely cares about his members. We have made wonderful friends. The staff and workers at the church know our children by name. The worship is heartfelt and amazing. And even though the church is considered “large” by most people’s standards it feels small because it is so welcoming.
Today I give thanks for our church. May God continue to bless the wonderful leadership, members and staff.
