One of the most difficult times in our day is bath time. Our little princess HATES with a capital H to have her hair washed. If the windows were open in our house, you might be inclined to call social services because it sounds like we are abusing her. Needless to say, I was a little hesitant about trying out the Eco Princess organic shampoo and conditioner in fear that something awful may happen and I wouldn’t be able to give it a real review.
However, the complete opposite happened. Lu was super excited to use her “princess” shampoo and eagerly let me lather her up. She was telling me over and over how good the shampoo smelled. Personally, I was surprised at how well the shampoo lathered up. I have always been under the impression that organic products don’t lather. For Lu’s hair we needed about a quarter size amount of product.

The shampoo washed out really easily and her hair felt super clean. The conditioner was next. Once again we loved the citrus smell. I had to use about the same amount and smoothed in through her hair. It made her hair super soft and rinsed out with leaving any kind of greasy film. Plus it was really easy to get a comb through her hair.
and NO TEARS!!! (yes I know she doesn’t exactly look thrilled in this picture but I promise it is 100x better than normal)

We have been using the products for a couple of weeks now and are still very pleased. Lu’s hair is very soft and the conditioner works great as a detangler. There has been a whole lot less crying while trying to brush the “fairy knots” out of her hair in the morning.
