Just in case any of my friends read this post, I must confess that I am not exactly what you would call a “girly girl.”
Prior to having my own little girl, I had never noticed how a perfectly matching bow or hair clip makes even a plain shirt undeniably adorable. Nor did I realize how every little girl must have their own closet full of super fluffy tutu’s to dance around the living room in.
So, even though some of my friends would find it shocking, I am a bow addict. I love hair bows, big flowers and cute little clippies. I love going through Lu’s hair clip collection and choosing just the right one to match her outfit. That is why I love Brynn’s Beautiful Bows Etsy website.

I love bows & barrettes for my little one, but I have a hard time keeping them on her!!! 🙁 She has so much hair and they’re all over her eyes…. but no matter what I do – the barrettes end up in her mouth or the bows end up on the floor. Any solutions?!?!? 🙁
Greta~ Have you tried using a french barrette in her hair? If you can put it in a pony tail and snap the barrette infront of her pony tail holder then, it should stay put!
If her hair isn’t long enough for a pony tail holder, try piggy tails with little 4inch bows on french barrettes and snap it infront of her bands for the piggy tails.
Otherwise, have you tried crocheted headbands with interchangable clips? (clips that clip onto the headband?)
Another option to to have the bows attachted to pony o’s. (pony tail holders)
All of our bows/clips are no-slip with GripZies added to the clip. It’s latex free foam that adheres to the inside of the clip.
Sounds like the french barrette is going to be your best friend though, until your bug gets used to leaving her ‘pretties’ alone in her hair!
