A couple of years ago, when I became a Dave Ramsey addict, I signed our family up for eMeals. We were fairly consistent and I defintely loved the savings and ease of planning, even though they didn’t have a specific plan for our Midwest Kroger. My husband, who does most of our cooking, enjoyed the recipes and lack of “thinking” however, through time we just got side tracked and eventually stopped using the program.
A couple of weeks ago, we decided to join our church in January and taking Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Part of that is coming up with a food budget and sticking with it. My husband suggested that we go back to giving eMeals a try. I was a little hesitant at first, but then this blog opportunity came my way and I thought it was a definite sign.
I hadn’t “logged in” to the eMeals site in more than a year. I couldn’t believe all the changes and choices. Once what was just a simple family meal plan for a few stores now has 10 choices including classic, Paleo, low carb, low fat and gluten free. I am really impressed and I can’t wait to choose which plan will fit us best and help us to really get off on a good start with our FPU.
