Over the past few months, my husband and I have tried to allow our son a little more freedom but along with freedom comes a whole lot of worry. It would be perfect if we could just pick up the phone and send a text or call while he was out riding his bike or over at a friends. We have talked about getting him a mobile phone but he doesn’t always make the best choices and that makes us really nervous. Zact conducted a study and found that 73% of parents are interested in giving their children smartphones but they are concerned about the lack of Parental Controls on most phones.
