I love rockin green because you can use it for your regular laundry or your cloth laundry. The customer service is amazing!

Do you ever love a product so much that you wish you could buy it for your friends? That is how I feel about my Rockin’ Green Cloth Diaper Detergent.  I can’t tell you how many times that I have scooped up a small baggie full and brought it in to someone who uses cloth diapers. I love sharing the Rockin’ Green love.

So last month when Rockin’ Green had their voluntary recall of their Hard Rock product, my heart was really sad for the company. I knew that this type of situation would impact how new customers view their products.  They had a precarious situation on their hands and how they chose to handle it would really determine the future of their company.  All I can say is WOW and sing their praises for a job well done. 

Customers were notified in a quick and timely manner, emails were sent and replacement packages were in the mail faster than one would imagine. Kim and Jamie personally emailed, Facebooked and Twittered with all their loyal customers and in the end all I can say is that their professionalism, dedication  and superb customer service has shown through as bright as the sun! They are a great company and that is why I decided to giveaway my 2 bags of replacement detergent.  I want them to feel the love from their loyal customers.

As part of this praise, I just wanted to share a quick review of my Rockin’ Green Hard Rock experience. Unfortunately for us, the recall happened at a very bad time.  We were on a three week trip to Florida with our cloth diapers.  I had brought a spankin’ new bag of Hard Rock and only 18 of my BG 3.0’s on our trip.  Our first week in Florida we were vacationing in a condo with our own top loading washer. The first couple of washes were fine but by the end of the week our diapers just were not getting clean and Lu had developed a slight rash. Now, of course, I never thought about it being my RnG HR. I just assumed I had other issues.  Then by the time we did a whole load at my Dad’s house, oh how my diapers stunk.  The baby had ammonia burns on her bottom and my diapers smelled like barn. I blamed the front loader. 

Not but a few hours after that did my Facebook explode with the recall notice.  I was really torn with what to do but in the end we decided to buy some sposies and call it a day. We packed up all our lovely cloth and finished our vacation. 

When we got home this past Monday, I literally met our post man John at his truck. I knew my RnG would be there and I wanted to get my diapers in the wash ASAP and cloth back on that sweet baby bum.

I rocked a soak separately with my inserts and rewashed ALL my diapers (I had the recalled detergent before I had left) and all my diapers came out smelling nice and clean.  Well really they don’t smell at all, because they are washed nice and clean in their Rockin’ Green.

    I have only just purchased a few samples of Rockin Green after it was recommended repeatedly on a cloth diaper group I belong to. I did my first soak today and was amazed. During my order period the recall came into effect. I read some of the demanding and hurtful comments. I read how stressed Kim was trying to make everyone happy. She is just astounding in her customer service and responses. The product is amazing and I am sold just on that but her strength and commitment to her customers makes me a die hard fan of Rockin Green and I am recommending it to everyone! (1 entry)
