This past weekend we had the wonderful opportunity to spend the day with our dear friends apple picking. The little ones were wandering through the rows of trees, amazed by God’s nature and innocently loving one another. While we casually picked apples, snapped pictures, climbed trees and chatted.
When I saw these pictures of the babies I felt like I was looking straight into a Hallmark card. Their sweet faces so innocent, compassionate, gentle and loving. It is the perfect picture of how God wants us to walk through life with him. We should love one another innocently no matter what the situation. Be compassionate for our fellow sister and brother. Offer support when struggles are unbearable. And show unconditional love.
I am so blessed to be loved with a pure, sweet innocence from God. He holds no grudges and offers me only grace for my mistakes. I strive to be more like Him.
There is a level of sweetness and pure innocence that you can only see through watching children I encourage you to watch your children this week to see what lessons they might hold for you.
